Which court serves you
Skegness Magistrates' Court is closed — gov.uk's Find a Court or Tribunal service confirms it is "no longer in service" and its business has been transferred to neighbouring courts. Skegness sits in East Lindsey, Lincolnshire, so most County Court and Family Court work (divorce, child arrangements, financial remedy) is handled at Lincoln County Court and Family Court, 360 High Street, Lincoln LN5 7PS — see our Lincoln family court guide and the Lincoln town hub. Always check your hearing notice: it names the court you must attend. National HMCTS enquiry line: 0300 123 5577.

Children's services
Skegness falls under Lincolnshire County Council (East Lindsey area). CAFCASS involvement in family proceedings is covered on our CAFCASS East Midlands page.
Getting to your hearing
Lincoln County Court and Family Court is on Lincoln's High Street in the city centre, about a 10–15 minute walk from Lincoln Central station; direct trains run from the coast via Peterborough/Nottingham connections — check journeys before you travel. There is no on-site parking, so allow extra time for city-centre car parks and security checks before your listed time.
