Family court & support in Epsom

Which court serves you

There is no family court in Epsom itself. Epsom Magistrates' Court has closed — gov.uk's Find a Court or Tribunal lists it as "no longer in service", with business transferred to neighbouring courts (https://www.find-court-tribunal.service.gov.uk/courts/epsom-magistrates-court). Family work for Epsom and Ewell (divorce, child arrangements, domestic abuse applications, financial remedies) is heard at Guildford County Court and Family Court, The Law Courts, Mary Road, Guildford GU1 4PS — see our full Guildford court guide.

Main enquiries (HMCTS National Contact Centre, Mon–Fri 8.30am–5pm): 0300 123 5577; divorce enquiries: 0300 303 0642 (Mon–Fri 10am–6pm). Family Court location code: 211 (use this on C100 and other family forms). Court open Mon–Fri 9am–4pm; the counter is by appointment only — contact the court before travelling. Family enquiries including C100 applications: surreyfamily@justice.gov.uk; non-molestation applications: surreynonmol@justice.gov.uk.

Getting there

Guildford Law Courts are a short walk from Guildford rail station (direct South Western Railway trains from Epsom, roughly 35–45 minutes via Leatherhead or via London Waterloo connections); the closest public parking is the Bedford Road car park. Allow time for airport-style security on arrival.
