What this service is

Support Through Court is an independent charity providing free practical and emotional support to people facing court without a lawyer. Volunteers help you understand procedure, organise papers, fill in forms, write statements and accompany you into hearings. They are not solicitors and do not give legal advice or represent you.

Who it helps

Anyone appearing in the family or civil courts without representation — including at Liverpool Civil and Family Court. No means test; the service is free.

How to use it

1. Book or enquire through the national helpline 0300 081 0006 (Mon–Fri 9:30–16:30) 2. Or via the Liverpool office listed on supportthroughcourt.org (at Liverpool Civil and Family Court, 35 Vernon Street) 3. Bring your case papers to your appointment

How it fits your family court case
